Laff Riot Girls
About Us
The Laff Riot Girls is Canada’s longest operating stand up comedy troop. We also had regularly weekly shows from 1997 to 2012 - making us the longest running independent stand up comedy show in Western Canada. The Laff Riot Girls was started in 1997 by local stand up comic Ardell Fitzpatrick to help give aspiring and established female stand ups a show to hone their skills and try out material. It has since evolved into a show known for high octane comedy and pleasing audiences wherever they perform.

The Laff Riot Girls have produced over 650 stand up shows at comedy clubs, Comedy Festivals, theatres and corporate events across Western Canada. We have also organized fundraisers and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities ranging from the Foodbank, United Way, Walk to End Breast Cancer, to Charlford House.

Our activities have been cut down since 2012 as our founder Ardell deals with her recovery from life saving surgery. We are still available for corporate and theatre shows and fundraisers. Contact our General Manager for quotes.
